Frederick Nazario-Alvarado
Fred Nazario-Alvarado is a U.S. Navy veteran, healthcare educator, and host of MAP: Medical Pathways for Success.
His medical journey began in 2008 as a Navy Hospital Corpsman, from catching babies in Labor and Delivery to practicing emergency medicine in Afghanistan. After leaving the military, Fred found himself at a crossroads. But a pivotal moment reignited his calling, leading him back to healthcare.
Today, Fred serves as an Assistant Director at a medical assisting school and created MAP to guide, motivate, and support the next generation of healthcare professionals on their pathways to success.
When he's not behind the mic, Fred is a proud single father of two in Southern New Jersey, likely hunting down rare Pokémon cards with his kids.
His message: Your journey doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to keep moving forward.
